Bark-O-Lounger Grooming is a full service dog grooming company.Sorry, we do not groom cats at this time.We offer all of the same services that larger salons do,but just on a smaller scale! Unlike high volume salons, we groom each dog straight through from start to finish which accomplishes two things; the duration of the groom is shorter and the anxiety/stress some dogs feel is kept at an absolute minimum.We do not rush through any grooming.We have just learned after many years how to complete a full groom in a shorter than average period of time! 
​We understand that for many of you,your pet is your baby,and we pride ourselves on treating YOUR pet the way you would want them to be treated!

**Important - For All New Clients!**
We require proof of up-to-date vaccines at time of first visit:
Rabies
DHPP
Bordatella (kennel cough)
If you do not have any records,but believe that your pet is up to date, we will be happy to contact your vet directly.
We cannot accept ANY dog without current Rabies or DHPP. We will allow pets without Bordatella,but urge that you include that in future vaccine boosters.

Grooming Services

Our dog grooming prices are all inclusive and are based on the amount of work involved for each dog.
The only exceptions that would increase the price are listed below under Extras:​​

• Full Grooming Includes - (Price varies,call for estimate)Bath,conditioner,blow drying (by hand), full haircut, nail trimming/dremeling, *ear cleaning,sanitary trimming,pad trimming.
• Mini-Groom Includes - (Price varies, call for estimate)Bath,conditioner,blow drying (by hand),nail trimming/dremeling,ear cleaning,sanitary trimming,pad trimming.
• Bath/Blow-dry Includes - (Price varies,call for estimate)Bath,conditioner,blow drying (by hand)
• Nail Trims $10.00/$15.00 for nail trim/ nail trim & dremeling
• Anal Gland Expression - Expressing anal glands will only be done on small dogs and only externally,unlike veterinarians who do it internally.We do not do this on every dog during every grooming,unless medically warranted.It is not recommended that young,healthy dogs have their glands expressed manually on a regular basis.

* Ear cleaning is a regular part of a full grooming,and with most of our dogs any ear hair is removed by hand.The exception is, dogs who have very profuse and difficult to remove ear hair.This can be a torturous process and we will often resort to clipping hair close around ear opening instead of putting a dog in major distress.More and more research has shown that ear plucking can actually exacerbate problems already present by irritating the skin in the ear canal,thus exposing it to yeast and bacteria it would normally not be exposed to.
​Bows and Other Embellishments  - We will often add bows,bandanas,bowties and other embellishments on a finished dog.Please let us know if you do not want us to add any of these extras!

Extras

• Severely matted coats $25 per hour - We reserve the right to decide if a the coat is too matted to save. Humanity over vanity!
• Fleas $5.00 (we use flea shampoo only,no dip!)Our flea shampoo is very effective,but we suggest that all dogs be on monthly flea prevention.
•  Specialty skin treatments $5-10 This would include all medicated treatments for skin issues from basic allergies to severe dermatitis,etc.
  
• Nail Polish $5-$10 We will only apply polish to dogs who are cooperative with having their feet handled!
